About Citrus Tree Media Ltd

My background is in IT, retail management and retail analysis. I have worked with several large and small businesses, including Sainsbury’s, Boots and Comet in both retail management and analysis roles.

With Boots and Tiny Computers I was responsible for the creation and management of database based software which supplied strategic teams with valuable insights into the business. With Tiny I worked directly for the commercial director.

These prior roles not only helped me develop my core IT skills, but more importantly helped me to understand the importance of using the technology for the sake of the business, and communicating the information with non-technical decision makers

I am the owner and primary developer with Citrus Tree Media. This means that I do the majority of the programming and database work as well as dealing with clients and running the business.

I am a designer from with over 6 years studio experience as a Graphic Designer with a genuine enthusiasm for web, print and motion design.

Graduating in 2002 from the University of Salford with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) degree in Product Design and Development, I went on to work with a company supplying bespoke IT solutions. It is here where I first got to grips with web design, which was to become my main passion.

I have professional experience in video editing, animation, exhibiton graphics, art direction and other design related practices.
